The Solucionario Fisica General Alvarenga Y Maximo is a recent Latin American work by author Victor Alejandro Alvarez. The book offers a large selection of problems in physics, broken down into mathematics and experimental physics, going from elementary courses up to complex graduate level problems. There are a variety of logical steps that you must take to solve the problem at hand and the text offers step-by-step instructions on how to work through them.Included in each chapter are informative introductions about the mathematical techniques being used, so you can get a better understanding of how things work. For example, there is a chapter dedicated to "Mathematical Analysis" which explains the basic math of calculus and differential equations, such as what it is and why you should know it. It also goes over applications such as using integration to find areas under curves of various kinds.The problems are experimental physics problems, inspired by the experiments done that allowed Albert Einstein to create his theory of general relativity. His experiments had shown that gravity and acceleration can be very different than we were used to, and this inspired work by Alvarez on solving similar problems.
