Devil May Cry 4 is the fourth game in the Devil May Cry series. It was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2008. The player controls Nero, who after becoming aware of his devilish heritage, has vowed to defeat Vergil, his twin brother. "Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition" is an expansion pack for iOS and Android ports of "Devil May Cry 4", which was released on August 16, 2010. The expansion features three extra playable characters: Dante's female twin sister Trish, from the first game; Walzer Lucia, from the second game; and Lady, a character exclusive to this expansion who runs a shop in a corrupted part of Limbo City. Two new playable characters were added to the original release: Nero and Dantes daughter Nico. The game also includes the "Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition" content, including a bonus unlockable ending, a new costume for Nero and a new costume for Dante. "Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition" was released on December 2, 2010 in Japan and on May 11, 2011 in North America.
